Offering a first look at what can be expected in the upcoming drama, the first trailer for "Bel Ami" has hit the web.

The Robert Pattinson starring picture is based on the book written by Guy de Maupassant with the film being taken to the big screen by Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod.

As for the storyline, "Bel Ami" is "a chronicle of a young man's rise to power in Paris via his manipulation of the city's most influential and wealthy women."

With Uma Thurman taking on the leading female role, the movie also features Christina Ricci and Kristin Scott Thomas.
