Jennifer Lopez Heats Up the AMAs, Wins Best Latin Artist

She's the consummate performer, and tonight (November 20) Jennifer Lopez took the stage at the 2011 American Music Awards for an electrifying performance.

The "American Idol" judge wowed the crowd at the Nokia Theatre LA Live as she joined Pitbull for a steamy medley with plenty of dirty dancing and theatrics accompanying the AMA effort.

The 42-year-old was not only on-hand to treat the crowd to the duo of performances, as she was also among the nominees.

And sure enough, J. Lo ended up being crowned the winner of the Latin Artist category while beating out fellow artists including Pitbull and Enrique Iglesias.
